Help Me Prevent Suicide
In loving memory of Gail Joseph
So many of us have lost a loved one to suicide. It shapes us in ways big and small. It's a pain that never leaves us. We can't change what happened, but we can do something to prevent others from experiencing the same tragedy and heartbreak.
Samaritans provides 24/7 crisis services for people who need help. With over 81,000 calls answered just last year, we know that lives were saved and families were kept whole.
Whether you found this page through the NYT Modern Love column or another way, I hope you'll consider contributing to this important cause. Suicide can be prevented and with a growing mental health crisis across the country, your help is needed now more than ever.
Thank you for helping me remember and honor my aunt Gail, and all the loved ones lost too soon.
